How about "This car has been abducted by EBE"

I've seen bumper stickers reading, "In case of rapture, this car will be
driverless"; why not, "In case of UFO abduction, this car will be driverless"?

Hi Jill:

I like it. However, I don't think it will fit on my small end err car<VBG>

You can run from *P, but you can't hide . . . .

That's what frightens me! <G> The Men In Black will drag me kicking and
screaming to my desk, tie me to the chair, and make me sign on! No, actually,
it ain't THAT bad. But still...Come to think of it, I should sign on and see
how badly I got flamed for my post about the illiterates on there. Problem is,
most of the people who flame there ARE illiterates, with such a "unique" grasp
of spelling, punctuation and grammar that I can hardly understand what they're
trying to say! That must be why they usually stick to simple concepts like,
"YOU SUCK HUH HUH HUH".

Well Jill:

I'll save you the trouble of trying to go back and sign on with your
hands tied behind your back - They are still there and have increased
in numbers . . . . Geeezz.

If you don't get sucked into the flames, lurking can be amusing at times
(i.e. Lorenzo XXs & OOx.)

There are a bunch of terrific X-Philers there and I hope more will wake
up and take the plunge into cyberspace. Until then, it is nice to come
across those here . . . . <VBG>

Actually, I hope more of them take the plunge into AOL! If enough of the
people I like on *P go on AOL, I could probably cancel *P and save some money
and time! I am thankful for the thoughtful ones over there, such as yourself.
How good is Delphi? I've thought about exploring that service as a possible
alternative to *P.

Jill,

According to all sources, Delphi is the best deal for your money, and
with full internet access I might add. $20 for 20 hours (there are smaller
packages) and to access internet is a mere $3 a month - period. Besides
that it has an offline reader which is free. It may not have that pretty
windows look, but then again you don't pay for it either.

Hmm. How good is Delphi? I'm still thinking about it. I've only been on Delphi
since the beginning of April and am still trying to figure it out. For me, it
is quicker than Prodigy. However, it is text based - not very colorful.
You can try Delphi, if you like. With any communications software just:
1. Dial by modem - 1-800-365-4636. If you are a current Internet user,
they say you should telent to "delphi.com" instead.
2. After connecting, press CR once or twice. At the Username prompt, enter
JOINDELPHI and at the password prompt, enter INTERNETSIG.

This will give you a trial memebership of 5 free hours of access.

I'm waiting for AOL software to check them out. In the meantime, I'm trying
to adjust and get used to Delphi.

Hope you find this info. - useful?
