Ok, so I'm reading Moby-Dick, and he's rambling on about whales and such when
there's this little footnote that reads, "...the fish styled Lamatins and
Dugongs (Pig-fish and Sow-fish....)...but as these pig-fish are a nosy,
contemptible set...." I can't figure out what lamatins are, but I know dugongs
are closely related to the manatee, and are known as sea-cows. Anyhow,
Moby-Dick was first published in 1851, so as early as then this conspiracy was
at hand! See, the evil Pig-Man tried to become a cow by first trying to become
a *sea*-cow. These *evil* pig-fish were "nosy" and "contemptible", but as we
all know modern day manatees and sea-*cows* are sweet, congenial creatures.
They only become contemptible when under the influence of the evil Pig-Man.
Luckily, the Manatee managed to conquer the sea from the Pig-Man, but now he's
back, stealing my moo, and taking over the near monopoly Elmer had on white
glue. Do you see what I'm up against, people? Do you!?

both birds at once.

Katie, are you sure you haven't been sniffing this glue that you are
investigating? ;-)

There's a prophecy of Nostradamus in which he envisions the dropping
of bombs from the air by the man who is half-pig.

A-ha...see, that's what he *wants* me to do, being evil and all.

(Kristen, you can't be mean to me. I just finished your x-mas present!
Finally! But you can't have it yet because I need to make a copy of it for
myself. <g>)

I started over the summer, but stopped after about a hundred pages. Now I have
to read it for school, and I just started, er, about 2 weeks ago. So shaddup.
