Who likes Krycek?

Perhaps I am in the minority, but the moment I realised that Krycek
wasn't going to replace Scully I took to liking him (after my initial
rage cooled down at his double nature).
Does anyone else feel the same way?
Are there any comments they could add?
Do you think he died inside of Missile Launch Silo 1013?
If any of you Americans know can you tell me?

I see our tactics of stealth and secrecy have worked... all too
well...

Just to fill any Krycek Fans in on the situation, yes, Krycek
(a.k.a. Ratboy) DOES have a fan base; the groups that come to mind are:

"The Rat'niks" a.k.a. The Ratboy Brigade - The first, the
original, and the hardest to join (new entry requirement being developed
daily) of the Ratboy fan groups. Run by yours truly <insert shameless plug
here:> for more info e-mail awa...@sfu.ca. Be warned that it may take a
LONG time for your mail to be responded to (usually minimum of 1 week).
I've got a backlog of new members who *will* be getting their FAQs any day
now, promise promise...

RAD (Ratboy's Admiring Devotees) - A group that's pretty active on
the X-files official web page for Alex Krycek (Don't have the URL on hand,
but I think that's the Delphi site...)

RABID (Ratboy's something something something Dominatrixes) - who
believe that all Krycek need is "the firm hand of a strong woman"
(Unfortunately I don't have any more info on this one - at least none
that I am at liberty to divulge in a public forum...)

There is also a Nicholas Lea Estrogen Brigade maillist somewhere,
and a snail-mail Nicholas Lea Fan Club, maybe someone who's familiar with
them can add something to this?

He may be a rat on the show, but he is extremely good looking -- of
course, not AS good looking as David Duchovny.

Sorry, he's nowhere as good looking as Gillian Anderson...
ooooopppsss... I thought we were on that Pamela Anderson vs. GA thread from
HELL!
Actually I like Krycek. I think he adds a GREAT dimension to the show.
He's the man who betrayed, then was betrayed, and then betrayed again. He's
almost as got as much internal turmoil as Deep Throat or Cancerman.

Ratboy..... does that make Mulder Catboy or Batman?

Grr! :) See, this is what happens when someone doesn't pay
attention to their credit lines... I did NOT write the above paragraph,
and my name is NOT Mark. And my opinion of Krycek's ass and what Mulder
should do with it are my own business....

Actually, this may rub a lot of readers the wrong way, but I have always
thought of Krycek as an interesting character for the show. Sure, I hate
him with the intensity of ten thousand burning suns, but the character
was able to put one over on the Cigarette Smoking Man. He may have killed
Scully's sister, but his link to the DAT tape made him interesting. I
would have liked to see him keep the tape instead of dealing away its
secrets. Perhaps, then, he never would have gotten locked in the silo and
would still be on the run. Maybe even working with the aliens
now...hmm...interesting concept, hmm? :)

Until...

Actually, from the first airing of Sleepless, I've always found Krycek to
be an utterly fascinating character (who did *not*, BTW, kill Scully's
sister). There's so much they can do with a character like that,
especially now that he's a free agent who's got a few scores to settle.
Now, if we could just see him in more than 2 eps per season...

This is also one of those rare cases when I find that I'm a fan of the
character as well as the actor. I'd love to see Nick Lea on TV more
regularly. Here's hoping Once A Thief *does* get picked up as a series!

I love Ratboy! I am hoping that they will bring him back in the movie
still controlled by the alien slim. I love nothing more than a well
written villan.

Missle launch??? Wasn't he locked up in some alien containment center in
the middle of Nowhere, Wisconsin???

It was a missle silo, being used as an alien craft container. So you are both partially right. I also think it was located in North Dakota, that is subject to correctio though.

Cheesehead alert! (Reference to Wisconsinites, not to you!) That was
Nowhere, Ndak. There is no Nowhere, Wisconsin but there is an Elmwood,
Wisconsin that actually does have a UFO fuel pump.

Actually, it was in the Dakotas and it was an abandoned missile site and
Krycek returns in Tunguska. And, regarding the Subject title of this
thread, I LIKE KRYCEK.

He was last seen locked in a missel silo. But Nicolas has signed up
for another season, so Krycek will be back. (As if he ever left!)
