Several people have emailed me regarding my question on "Oubliette."
In it I asked about Mulders statement in the episode where he tells
Scully she should know better than anyone that a single childhood
event doesn't necessarily color one's judgement from then on.

Most of the responses have indicated that I should know, if I'm an
X-Phile of any character, that Mulder's sister had been taken when
he was young. I just wanted to say..."YES. I KNOW THIS!"

I got the feeling that in Oubliette, Mulder was refering to an event
in SCULLY'S life and not his. This is where the question comes in.
Is there an event in SCULLY'S life he could be refering to?

Keep in mind that my judgment is clouded by my latent M/S relationshipper
mentality, but I thought Mulder meant that Scully should know by now that
some of his obsession with finding the truth revolves around HER
abduction, not just Samantha's. He was saying that he has more than one
reason for seeking the answers, however paranormal...in the Lucy
Householder case as well as other cases. Samantha isn't his ONLY impetus.

At least, that's what I thought.
