<<Rick Jacobson, the Twentieth Television president who re-engineered the
company's syndication operations, died of cancer Sunday. He was 48.
During his four years at Twentieth, Jacobson's change in syndication and
sales operations set an industry precedent when Twentieth launched ``The
X-Files'' and ``NYPD Blue'' with simultaneous windows in basic cable and
off-network syndication.>>
As we'd say here in Ireland, Ar dheis De go raibh a h-anam.

Fianna fail, Fine Gael, Oireachtas, Seannad, Sinn Fein, ard feis, Beal
Feirste - OK that's my Irish language skill (and probably all wrong!)
No, it was go h-an mhaith ar fad! (patronising Bosco presenter voice!). Not
that I'm fluent in it or anything, but coming up to Patrick's day, I dust
off the few phrases that I remember and use them.
BTW, I'm going to be on a float for our local parade! Oh I feel so
important! Knowing my luck it will piss rain from one end to the other so
I'll have pneumonia in my early 1900's gear, because plastic macs had yet to
be invented!
