OK, I will ask how did you get them so cheap? The next thing I have to
ask is did you already receive them? If not, you might get burned by the
seller, and they could always send you the Asian sets, and say there was
a mistake in the Ebay listing. If they are the real deal I hope they all
work for you, and they are not store returns!

I noticed he also sells Star Trek DS9 & TNG complete sets at such a low, low
price. I wonder if he stole them? =).

The seller's feedback is *private*, and he's received 5
negatives in the past month alone (18 in the past 6 months,
and 82 in the past year). Granted, that's a relatively
small percentage given his volume of sales, but a good
seller should at least be *over* 99% positive, not under.
And there's no good reason for making feedback private.
(Not that he even attempts to give any reasons for it
on his "About Me" page ...)

I hope you guys are right, and you do not get ripped off. This persons
Feedback is not very impressive at 98.7%, with 83 negitives! And they
keep all comments from buyers private, so what are they hiding? Let us
know if this turns out OK, and you get real USA DVD sets.

One thing I noticed from looking at his negative feedbacks are that
they are mostly on his bead sales and it is because the buyer doesn't
read the description thourougly and is disappointed when they receive
their item. This is obviously not the seller's fault but the
illiterate buyer's. I am giving him the benefit of the doubt. I will
certainly let you all know when and how they come. Hopefully they will
be here this week. I am so wiggin excited!!!

Except for the fact that the first two negatives were for undelivered
DVD sets of high value! I knew this seller had something to hide, and

Good for you. As for me, as a buyer AND seller, EBAY SUCKS BIGTIME. I am
sick and tied of getting scr***d over by both sellers and buyers. This year
has been the worst. So I am quitting forever. And anyone who sends that much
money to a stranger over Ebay is a true sucker. Next time you won't get
anything in return. Seriously.

Please let us know if you receive your DVD set!

The seller has locked down their feedback again after receiving two
more negatives today. Last week I had scanned through the sea of
feedbacks from the bead sales and I didn't find much positive feedback
on DVD sets, but many negatives.

I have sent 3 emails and have heard nothing yet. The seller has been
online sending negative feedback to others and to lock down their own
feedback, so I have the feeling I am being blown off. If I haven't
heard anything by the end of this weekend, it is time to file a
dispute.

Recently the seller had dozens of DVD sets worth thousands of dollars
purchased via Buy It Now, but now there aren't many sets listed and the
lack of positive feedback on the DVDs is disturbing...

That's what I thought too, it's all coin collections and for all we know he
has several duplicate accounts leaving feedback for himself.

And yesh the DVD feedbacks are terrible. I hope I GET the DVDs! =). Do you

Maybe it's 2 people (eg. a couple) sharing the same eBay
account? Some harmless little old lady dutifully selling
tens of thousands of beads over the years with no trouble,
building up a mountain of good feedback, until her
no-good sleazebag loser drug-addict grandson talked her
into letting him use her account to sell some DVDs that
either fell off the back of a truck or are nonexistent.
He makes a quick buck and disappears before the sh*t
hits the fan, leaving grandma to deal with the mess.

\;-T

Otherwise, if it's just 1 seller who has suddenly gone bad,
all those thousands & thousands of bead auctions over the
past 5 years seem like an awful lot of trouble to go to
just to set the stage for a round of hit-and-run bogus
DVD auctions now. (Just taking the closeup photos of all
those beads must take an awful lot of work!)

eBay seldom responds or acts when ordinary people complain, but
when a *Power Seller* complains, they usually pay more attention.
If a Power Seller noticed his/her account had been hijacked
and complained, eBay would probably do something ... I think.

I hate to tell you this, but I think you have been had by this Ebay
seller! And the thing that gives it away is the last sentence, "I will
refund or resend". Now how could they afford to do this?
Especially the re-send part. Did they give you a Delivery Confirmation
number or even offer you Insurance on this item? If not then they are
just trying to delay you from filing a claim with Ebay. I think you only
get like 30 days from the end of the Auction to file. So if they keep
giving you the run around the 30 days will be up before you know it and
you will be left hanging. If I was you I would bug this Ebay seller to
death, to try to get what you paid for. Whatever you do don't let that
30 days go by! IHTH

Well, this isn't looking good. First the negative feedbacks, then the
feedback goes private. After listing thousands of dollars of DVD sets,
the sets suddenly stop getting listed. Today it appears the person
removed all of their other (bead) auctions, too.

PayPal has a 45 day remediation, so hopefully that works out if people
used that for payment.

always offer to resend or refund on lost or missing items. I will get your
items to you this is my word and i have been already reshipping many orders.
i have been using ups for this as i no longer use post office unless
absolutely necessary. Please be patient friday any requests for tracking
number will get it. My computer will be up by tommorrow night and i can get
to all questions. Also please contact me at purgat...@cox.net as the

found out many have been e-mailing her you will not get a response. I hope
this clears up issues you may have and if not ask i will get to them

This sounds like a real run-around, and a stalling tactic on the sellers
part. I have never heard so much bull in one E-Mail, ever! How would
probems with his computer prevent you from receiving something he
already sent? I wonder what will happen next to this seller? I do not
see why they are having all those shipping problems most sellers do not
have any problems in shipping items. I know you said you have never had
a problem with Ebay, but there is always a frst time for everything.

Filling a claim is a real pain I filed one with Papal once about not
receiving "two" books I had ordered from Ebay. Well they got to the
seller, and the seller sent me 1 book that was not what I had ordered!
And just because they sent me "something", Paypal said Case Closed So I
was out the money, and the books! Next time if I was you I would only
deal with Ebay sellers who have 100% feedback. That way you can be
pretty sure you will get what you pay for!

My brother has a friend who bought a motorcycle over Ebay- paid $6000

I haven't had to deal with this part of eBay/PayPal before, but we may
have to soon. Two of the people I have been in contact with said they
didn't get any action until they put in a PayPal dispute, and then they
also received tracking numbers immediately.

I was promised a tracking number by the weekend, got nothing, now it's
time for me to dispute.

I am just wondering what happens if the person sends 4lbs. of old books
or something that does not match the description... I guess it may come
down to who's word they take, and I have a feeling it would lean toward
the seller.

Well I was supposed to get two hardback books from one seller, and when
I did not after three weeks I filed a complaint with Paypal. Well then
after two more weeks I guess Paypal contacted the seller, and I received
one very "Ratty" old paperback book from the seller. And then when I
complained to Paypal again they said well I did get something from the
seller so the case was closed on this complaint! The funny thing was
there was no tracking # available for my original order but there was

The problem there is you might not want to close a dispute but Paypal
might! And if you receive "something" from the seller, that could infer
that the transaction was complete, and both seller, and buyer are happy.
And they always seems to be on the side of the seller in a dspute, why
that is I do not know. So I really hope you get what you paid for, but
don't get your hopes up too high on this. Did you try the tracking
numbers to see where your package might be? The sooner you find out the

Well, I tipped off PayPal that the tracking number he gave them to
"resolve" the claim was invalid, which I think pushed them to go in my
favor. I just happened to get the item and my money on the same day.
Maybe I was just lucky. He will get his items reshipped in the same
box with the same packaging he sent to me. Bastard.

In regards to Hank's post, PayPal explains that if the seller has
insufficient funds, I will still get ALL of my money, they will "deal"
with the seller.

"If the seller's account has insufficient funds to complete the
refund owed
to you, please be assured that we will take appropriate action
against the
seller's account, which may include limitation of the seller's
account
privileges."

I hope that I am just not one lucky individual and that all of you who
have an open claim get it resolved in your favor.

By the way, if you also need to "tip off" the PayPal investigators with
some more fishy business by this user, use the "Contact Us" link at the
bottom of the page.

Well good for you! I wonder how many people will not be so Lucky? I am
sure the money in the account of this seller will be gone in no time
when everyone starts filing claims with Paypal.
Just think after all this, you still do not have any X-Files DVD sets.
If I was you I would just go to a real store like Best Buy, and buy them
there.

This is pretty crazy, even though your seller has ripped off numerous
people in the last few weeks they have not been suspended by Ebay!
That is one reason why I do not use Ebay any more, they could really
care less, about any of this. It's a real shame, and it shows you that
they are only in it for the money, and customer satisfaction comes in
last, in their book.

You should use it the way my brother does. He
looks exclusively for stuff that has been put
up with improperly spelled titles or names. He
gets some great deals because no one else bids
on the stuff. He has yet to be ripped off too.

Well, this is all unfortunate. I kept a small amount of hope that the
seller would actually come through, but it all added up in the end.

Stalling for months, nothing but excuses, lies on the shipping date,
eBay information not matching PayPal information, the eBay profile's
phone number being disconnected when I tried to call it, and now
garbage items being sent when a PayPal claim is made in a final effort
to attempt to defraud.

On top of it, they will leave you a feedback calling you a "newbie" or
"childish" and claim you had no contact if you leave a negative. What
a jerk.

So, is everyone going to file a claim with the Postal Inspector to get
this scumbag hit with a couple dozen counts of fraud? By my count he
sold over $12,000 worth of DVDs he didn't produce but was paid for.

If there's a group of people working together to share information,
please shoot me the contact info!

I wish I had the sets, but I don't have the money to pay regular price.
I just didn't think sonofjohn's offer was too good to be true. I
guess I'll just save up my binkos and buy them one at a time.

Every once in awhile Best Buy has the DVD sets on sale for $49.99 per
season. It's one of the best deals you will find on the X-FIles sets.
Just keep checking with Best Buy, and sooner, or later the sale will
come up again. IHTH
