David Duchovny played "Jake" in the pilot for the Showtime series Red Shoe
Diaries. He continues as the narrator for the series, same character.
This is not pornography. It skirts on the edge of soft-core porn, and is
available as both R and Not Rated. It is a Showtime production, and
Showtime does not show what is typically considered pornography.
He was also in a B-flick "New Years Day" which (I think) included some
nudity. I haven't seen this, so I don't know for sure, but Encarta has it
with an R rating... not porn.
Many people have confused David Duchovny's acting roles with Fox Mulder's
pornography habit. Another example of the tendency to cross the actor with
the character.

Well, he was in a movie called "Julia Has Two Lovers" where he showed

You can pick up on Mulder's habit if you listen closely to the sounds of
his television in some of the episodes where he's relaxing at home. The
most obvious one that comes to mind is the ep in which he's looking
depressed (Scully had been abducted, remember?) and lying on the couch
watching something that we can't see, and he gets a call telling him that
Scully has reappeared and is at the hospital.
I think that there was an earlier ep where Scully walks in on him in his
basement office, and he's holding up a magazine sideways as if he's
looking at a centerfold.

Well, I don't know if I should be posting this but...my nieghbor Donna tells me
(and she can tell some whoppers I might add) that Mr. Mulder is indeed the same
individual that has disrobed in some not so spectacular X rated features.
I myself have my doubts. Ms. Donna on the other hand swears it's true. We call
news from her... hot off the "Donna vine" she is just a gossip. Why, there are days
that womans mouth just never stops.

I think Playboy mentioned that DD was also the male lead in the very
first episode of "Red Shoe Diaries", which could be where this "porn
star" idea came from. Now if anyone could provide us with some GA
birthday-suit flicks....

Seriously though, the Internet Movie Database doesn't have him listed, but
I SWEAR I saw him in National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation as Chevy Chase's

him in a new light. It was very different
for me to seem him in a sex scene. The
movie was "Kalifornia" it started David,
Brad Pitt, Juilette Lewis (don't think
