Whatever the case, "3" is very depressing for me! The whole way through I missed Scully a lot!

Hi Fellow X-philes,
I have been lurking for a couple of weeks now it is
time for me to put in my 2 cents. THEY DID THE NASTY. David Duchovny
confirmed in this month's Rolling Stone. Mulder did sleep with Kristin on
that episode. I found their scenes together really erotic since they were
lovers in real life at that time. So if they didn't do the deed , I bet
they sure as hell did it when they got home that night. God, that man can
kiss!

Nancy, honey, don't kid yourself. When John grabbed Kristen in the
living room, he said "I had to wait until you were finished." If they
weren't having sex, what was he waiting for? They did it! Please don't
begrudge Mulder having sex once in three years.

If you looked, you would have seen the bed was messed up and Kristen
was wearing only a sweat shirt. Sorry, but they did it while John
watched, then they got up to get dressed. Mulder fell asleep in the
chair when he was getting ready to put on his shoes, while Kristen was
talking to John in the kitchen.

In a word, NO.

I tend not to believe it either HOWEVER . . .where does it say you have to
remove ANY clothes to have sex. Last I checked all you need is a few
minor readjustments. . .

Earlier in "3", Mulder mentioned that he didn't get a motel room because
(since Scully's abduction) he didn't sleep anymore. One would assume that
at night he sat somewhere and occasionally dozed, as it would be
impossible for any human to go weeks without sleep. In "3", the
implication was that he had sex with Kristen (perhaps on the bathroom
floor or perhaps in bed) and then got dressed and sat in the chair because
he thought he wasn't going to fall sleep. He then dozed-off. [People who
have trouble sleeping often dread getting into bed, but will fall asleep
on a couch, etc.]

Okay, but then why does the guy who breaks in after the supposed "deed"
say to Kristen "I had to wait until the two of you were finished." (or
something to that effect). What else would they be finishing at that point
in the plot?

THAT'S IT!!! =D Mulder *can't* sleep in a bed--that's why he doesn't
ahve one. The bed we see in JCFOS is simply Chung's speculation of
Mulder's activities, and Chung doesn't know about Mulder's
bed-o-phobia!!!!

A possible explanation for why we never see Mulder's bed?
you're in denial, baby.. the entire episode was basically working up to
that one point (sad, but true), it was supposed to add some credibility for
the emotional link.. there's plenty of "evidence" pointing to this, such as
(god help me for knowing this): (1) the quote "i had to wait until you were
done," (2) the change of clothes on her part (didn't she go from night
gown to tee and shorts?), etc

Good. Then perhaps you can understand how far gone Mulder was in that
episode and why he behaved like that.

I think the clincher is that in the Rolling Stone interview, DD says
Mulder had sex with Kristen. If he doesn't know, nobody does!
Bennetta
In the Vampire's episode in the second series, I thought Mulder did it with
the vampire female (She's his real life girlfriend or wife).
Anyway, if Mulder has sex once in three years, then what Scully hadn't had sex
as well?

I'm sorry I hate to be bitchy and burst your bubble, but yes they did do
it in three (let's hope not in three minutes, however). There is a time
lapse between the bathroom and Mulder waking up in a state of deshabille
in the bedroom. The poor man is celibate most of the time, can't he get
lucky just once in three years? The woman did die after all, and he did
break it off with her in real life. Take heart, he's been good since then
and kept his dalliances to the celluloid type a la home video. Bambi did
choose the old fart in the wheel chair and detective White did get the
brush off. There has been a slight return of UST so be brave and try to
forgive.

In the recent issue of Rolling Stones with DD and GA on the cover in bed,
in the article it discusses who if anyone Mulder has slept with and DD
says that Mulder only slept with the woman in "3". So I guess that
settles it. I think in the article Chris Carter also says that is the
only person Mulder has slept with.
