It's weird, really weird. Fox, or maybe Ten Thirteen, doesn't update
both web sites since at least two months. The sixth season of The
X-Files begin tomorrow and there is no plot for "The Beginning" (6X01).
Same for Millennium site, since the first episode of the third season
nothing was done. What's up?

I have no idea but we can't keep sending newbies to read it if the
Official Site webmeister is asleep at the wheel. I hear the Millennium
webmeister quit but I don't know how true that is.

They have a lame webmaster. Just look at that lame homepage. I would bet
whoever designed the original MM and XF sites left Fox and no one really
knows how to update the site..

I don't know about millenium, but the XF webmaster DID quit because of
all the problems with the website and since they don't have a "budget"
for the site, Fox wasn't willing to inorporate all the good ideas that
he had.
But 1013 WAS interested, and asked him to get all the email from the
feedback page and pass it on so maybe they have plans eventually take
care of things.
You can find all this out for yourself if you go to the website, and,
using the search button look for all the posts made by "the
reaper"-that's the ex-webmaster's name on the site and look for the post
that titled "so sick of it all". he explains everything there. In the
meantime, what I suggest is to go to the general discussion page and
ask for a synopsis of "the beginning". Check back in an hour or so, and
someone will answer your question, if it hasn't already been
answered.Try skimmimg through some of the posts first. At any rate,
someone will be more than happy to help you out. And politely too.
Hope this helps

Chris Fusco, a.k.a., The Reaper, was the webmaster for both TXF and MLM.
He has left Fox over, according to him, the fact that they would not let
him upgrade the sites and do new programs (which would have entailed
$$$.) He sent a message out asking fans to comment on the site, since
Ten Thirteen wanted feedback with which to do some arm-twisting and
bring him back.

Chris was, BTW, a fan who had his own TXF site when he was "discovered"
and brought to LA to handle the Fox sites.

Why don't they just realise they could pick anyone from here on ATXF and
get someone to do the job right?

Good. If he had anything to with the design of
the site he should be shot. Web sites are there
to be informative not to give some graphic arts
jerk off time to play the artiste.

I looked in at one of their sites and was quite impressed.
Bright, clean and a very nice discussion interface.

Ummm, not ANYONE from ATXF. We don't all have website talent. I,
myself, prefer to be CC's Minister of Misinformation and/or Spotsy's,
Vince's and Shibes' Personal "YOU WANT TO DO WHAT?" Assistant. For
example, Spotsy would have an idea and come to me and say, "Hey Laura,
we were thinking of hacking off Krycek's arm by the campfire." I would
then make my best incredulous face and say, "YOU WANT TO DO WHAT?" and
summon up appropriate Italian hand/arm gestures followed by good New
York-type Italian or Jewish verbal expressions from the past and present
like, "whatsamatta for you" or the pained "oy vey" depending on the
situation. For no extra pay, I would also thwack them on the back
of the head, smack them or kiss them and pinch their cheeks when they
had good ideas. You know, sort of give them good DEMONSTRATIVE fan
feedback on the spot. I think in California everybody is so busy
TALKING to each other, back stabbing and offering fake "we just LOVE
what you are doing, darling" and those "don't mess my hair/makeup" phony
baloney air kisses that some real kisses, slaps, nose pinches, ear
pulls, back slaps and "get out of town" pushes would be a much need
change for the guys at 1013. AND, since they're filming in LA, I would
also apply those same skills to "motivate" DD/Mulder to wear the
trenchcoat...even if I had to stand on a step ladder to do it. Not only
would I be there for 1013 but I'd be protecting your fan interests as
well. ;-D

FOX is in charge of the web-sites and is rumored to be tight with
the money
and there is no one really working on the sites now. The man who was
maintaining
them and trying to improve them is no longer with FOX. Write to FOX!!!!

Busted! Now Laura, you're going to have to learn to let go. You need
to get over this fixation you have. It's not healthy. Now, let me show
you some
nice explosions... ;)

I saw, though it didn't seem to have his distinctive stamp on it. We
have to pigeonhole our directors, you know ;) When I think of Manners,
I think of the end of Redux II or the begining of Patient X, at the UFO
conference--lots of quick cuts. "The Beginning" had quite a few long
sweeping shots, which I associate more with Mr. Bowman. I guess some
refinement of my assessments is necessary.

But it's been stated that different directors often help out on one
another's eps with certain scenes, so it is possible to get more than 1
director's style in an ep.
