Hello all,

I was wondering if any of you fans out in the UK have heard the song by
Catatonia called "Mulder and Scully"? I just recently saw the cover of
NME with the lead singer of Catatonia on the cover. In the article, a
video is also mentioned. In it, a Mulder and Scully look-alike have a
snogging session.

Is the song any good? Has anyone seen the video?

Thanks for any info.

Well...whether the song is good or not, is entirely relative to you. I
like it, but don't actually think it's a GOOD song, it's catchy. The
song itself really has nothing to do with Mulder and Scully, it is
simply the singer singing about her love life and aying how strange it
is that it could be a case for Mulder and Scully.

(That is the only lines about them: "Things are getting strange I'm
starting to worry, This could be a case for Mulder and Scully.")

The video is not that brillaint, excpet for teh M+S bits. It mostly
consists of Catatonia riding in a bus and performing on stage, however,
these two M+S lookalikes appear to be investigating Catatonia.

The lookalikes are pretty good when they are in half light - they have
teh height thing, and Scully's season 2 hair - but when you see them
properly, or from the side, they're not good.

As teh song nears teh end, and M+S lookalikes mingle with the crowd at
the Catatonia gig, they do start snogging. It's really funny, because
for most of the kissing (you see it about three times) you can't see
their faces, so it could be the real M+S. AT one stage the Scully
lookalike starts laughing.

I like it, but I know a lot of people think it's crap.
