Scully's cancer

revelation or indication about Scully's cancer so far. Has she been cured?
Was the vaccine injected by Mulder inside the alien's ship in Antarctica a
cure? Did I miss something? HELP!

opener, part 2) , and "Redux II" (part 3). It was implied that she was cured
in those ep.s, or at least her cancer went into remission. Now, go watch
them, because they are really good!

I think you're a little confused. Scully's cancer went into remission at
the beginning of season 5 ('Redux II'). She was infected with the black
oil in the movie and cured by the vaccine Mulder injected her with. In
short, the black oil != cancer.

begining of Season 5, when Cancer Man told Mulder to put the chip back in her
neck she had recieved from her abduction. A few days after it was replaced in
her neck, her cancer went into remission. It was on of the best episode's
ever.........Redux II, it was called.

Her remission also happened after she turned to God and after her doctor tried
aggressive therapy. Iirc, it was never explained which of the three (or any
combination thereof) was responsible for the remission.

Don't worry! I guess if you have the 6th season then she really is
recovered. Here in Estonia we have only the 5th season but one of my
pen-friends from USA told me that she will be cured in the end of the 5th
season. Want to know how? Mulder finds the chip and so they put the chip
bach into her neck. This removed chip was the cause of her cancer.

Ah! Thanks!! I had to go into hiding due to finals testing 2 weeks ago.

But it has been called the "black cancer" before...I wonder if this

Yes she has Mulder after rummaging through an underground storage room finds a
microchip that suposedly curses her cancer though I could be wriong that's my
take on the cure of "P53" (The name of the cancer that scully got removing the
chip in the first place)

The black oil is the one of the alien life forms ... the one that's out to
colonize earth. Scully's cancer was caused by the removal of the microchip in
her neck.
