Let's see. Home was from the beginning of Season 4, so they shot that about
the end of Summer of '96.
I'm not saying that I know she does or doesn't, but I do know several smokers
who have quit from time to time...some of them permanently. Sometimes it
just happens one day and no more cigarettes.
Point is, seeing someone smoke over a year ago is not proof that
that person smokes today.

Not only do I and many of my friends...(gasp!!) smoke....
sometimes we even do it in front of children. A few of my friends even
have children of their own and they (oh horror of horrors) smoke right
there while they are in the room!!!!!

Well, most folks think smoking is probably "bad" and would like their
kids to not do it. Smoking in front of them is a message saying
"smoking is not bad, see, I do it..." which goes contrary to that. Bad
habits don't necessarily have to be done in front of your children. If
you were addicted to heroin, would you shoot up in front of them?

Alright, I've tried to stay out of this discussion 'cause no good could
come from it but.... HONESTLY!! Are you *really* equating smoking to
using heroin?!! While I agree that smoking is a bad habit, I would
hardly put it in the same league as illegal drug use. Perhaps it's
more on par with drinking? Which most folks seem to have no problem
doing in front of the kiddies. And while we're at it, why don't we also
lock up all those folks who take their kids to fast food restaurants..
