Hi!

I'm a X-Philes from Brazil, and was wondering a couple of things, in
which I'd like you to help me:

- Why is Mulder's first name "Foxx" ? Why did Chris C. decided to
give him exactly such uncommon name ?

- Is there any X-Files FAQ ? Where could I get it ?

- What was the last new episode of X-Files to run in the US ?

Waiting for your help,
Dan.

I am sure there is a reason but I can't remember right now.David
Duchovny useually kids that they named him after the network that the
show airs which is "Fox".I read that Duchovny jokes that Fox Mulder
sounds a lot better than ABC Mulder.(ABC-another US network)

> - Is there any X-Files FAQ ? Where could I get it ?

Yes, I there is.I go through this web site:
http://www.tvnet.com/UTVL/utvl.html and once I am there I type in the
tvseries I want(x-files) and it lists all the web sites and FAQ's and
episode guides. There are other ways but this is how I find my X-Files
web sites, etc..

> - What was the last new episode of X-Files to run in the US ?

The last new episode aired in mid-May and was "Talitha Cum" which is
part one of a 3 parter. New episodes do not begin until October 4 in
the US.Can't wait! Christina

- "Fox" (one 'x') was the name of one of Chirs Carter's childhood
friends.
- Check out the Official X-Files site at http://www.thex-files.com

- "Talitha Cumi", Part 1 of 2 (or more)

The first name for Mulder is "Fox" and CC chose this because it was
the first name of a childhood friend.

> - Is there any X-Files FAQ ? Where could I get it ?

If you have Internet access check out Yahoo and do a search "X-Files
FAQ". I believe this will work.

> - What was the last new episode of X-Files to run in the US ?

The last episode in the U.S. was "Talitha Cumi", which was Part 1 and
will conclude with the season 4 opener Oct 4.

How this helps.........

Chris Carter grew up with a boy named Foxx, and he always sort of
liked the name. Also, Mulder is his mothers maiden name.

Apparently "Fox" was the name of a kid Chris Carter had known whilst he
was growing up, and "Mulder" was his mother's maiden name.
Hope this helps,
Gareth.

It isn't its Fox and that is what his parents named him that's why.

I was watching some of the newly released X-Files videos and
I think Chris Carter said the name Fox Mulder comes from a childhood
friend he had.

That's true, how CC got the name, but if this person is talking about
Mulder the character, then his parents named him just like they named his
sister Samantha.

I read where CC had a friend named that so he gave it to his character in
honor of that. (Fox)
