The Shortest Sex Story
By P.Copeman

-----

Fox Mulder was in his office finishing off some paperwork, which had to
be completed and on Skinners desk first thing in the morning.
"This reminds me of high-school homework" Mulder said to himself aloud.
Once he'd completed the paperwork, he put it into a folder and placed it on
the corner of the desk, so he'd remember to drop it off to Skinner's office
later. He walked over to the Fax-machine to pick up the faxes that had come
through while he'd been busy, and walked back to his chair to read them.
Just then Dana Skully opened the door and entered carrying a large brown
paper bag with the well known 'Golden Arches' printed on either side.
Opening the bag, she took out a large portion of Fries and a Big-Mac and put
them down. on a mat on her desk. then passed the half empty bag over to
Mulder.
"There's yours Mulder", she said as he reached over to take the bag off
her.
"Cheers Scully, My stomach is making noises just waiting for these." He
said rubbing his mid-section with his spare hand.
Mulder carried on reading the new reports while munching on his McChicken
Sandwich.
"Pass me some of those reports, Mulder" Scully said as he reached over to
take a wad of paper. She had eaten most of her meal by now, and finished the
rest off while reading the report on the top of the pile.
Suddenly she stood up and said "Those Bastards! - I'm going to see them
about this". Then she grabbed her coat and headed out the door.
Mulder, puzzled about what could cause such an outburst, put down the file
he was reading, and reached over to pick up the report Scully had left.
It read as follows...

From: The Lone Gunmen
Subject: The Shortest Sex Story

Dana Scully Fox Mulder

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Mulder couldn't help laughing, as he saw the funny side of this, and
said aloud "Oh dear, Scully, Where's your sense of humour?"

I have written an incredibly long story (165 pages typed) dealing with
meeting David Duchovny and eventually becoming his fiancee. I'm hesitant
to post it, but if there's any one out there who's interested please
reply to this post. Many of my friends have read this story and
expressed their opinions about it, which have mostly been pretty good.
So write back!

I too have occasionally had little "imaginings" in my head, based on the
real-life actors of The X-Files (scenes such as when Gillian told David
she was pregnant, or whatever), and I have even been tempted to write
these up into a story on occasions. But I have always stopped myself,
because I have realised that this is really an imposition on the rights
of DD, GA and any others. I believe we are well within our rights to make
up stories based on the *characters* they play, but anything more than that
is taking it too far, IMO.

OTOH, I can see that having written such a long piece, you would want to
do something with it. I suppose you could mail it to DD himself, if that
interests you? Or maybe I'm completely off-track and there are heaps of
people out there who would love to read this story, and would be happy
for you to e-mail it to them, or post it to this ng? I don't know - what
does anyone else think?

Holly.

I agree, Holly.

I too would feel very uncomfortable about this. OTOH I would not want to
stop the writer posting it however. I can exercise my freedom and choose
not to read it.
