I've been through most of Gossamar now, can anyone recommend some good
series to read along with links?

I tried Generations and Genesis Series but didn't really like the beginning
of those so I stopped reading them - I'll probably go back to them at some
point. The ones that I have still left to read is the Life Cycle and The
Magician Series.

If anyone has read The Magician Series can you give me a summation as to
what it's about and if it's any good. I glanced at the summaries and it
looks kind of weird. I am a Shipper, so I basically only read shipper
related stories and series.

"The Magician" is MSR. It's basically like a fantasy novel, with a somewhat
medieval setting, kings, courtly events, and so on, but with magical
elements as a bonus. Also, Mulder and Scully are still "our" Mulder and
Scully; it deal with a parallel universe, not a completely alternate
universe.

It might not be your cup of tea, but I'd give it a try. :)

I also highly recommend the Magician series. I found it to be vastly
entertaining.
