I've been happily trying to make 1:6th scale action figures of the cast of
the 1980s TV Series Wiseguy. I've been very happy with the Vinnie Terranova
and Dan "Uncle Mike"/"Lifeguard" Burroughs figures.

And pretty happy with the Frank McPike I made out of a Wright Brother.
Here's what they looked like:

But I saw this DiD "Manfred Boelcke" head on eBay last week, and thought
that my Frank might need an upgrade:

Boy, oh, boy, was that a great call! I darkened his molded hair, and added
some brown "Wavy Locks" brand doll hair in a narrow slit in the crown of
his head, and:

If you don't remember the character, here's the real actor, the very
talented Jonathan Banks:

Your action figures are a hoot!

Of course, their existence may be a sign of obsession.

Anyway, the newer McPike looks more like Craig T Nelson, who was the star
The District, which also had Banks as a cast member. Hmmm, what a
coincidence.
