Here's a test for everyone. How many "Wings" cast member relatives APPEARED on
the show? Crystal's father of course had a speaking role in "The Bank Dick",
but how many other's appeared on camera (not necissarily in a speaking role)??
I can think of one other, are there any others I am unaware of?? Tom, you got
any ideas!?!? <G>

A Winger named Greg was trading stocks on a little-heard-of website on the
verge of severely crashing when he had this question:

Tim's sister Tyne appeared in a Wings episode. You can now find her on the CBS
drama "Judging Amy."

Tim's wife Amy Van Nostrond appeared in the episode where Joe and Helen
start seeing another married couple (she played the wife) that Kay set
up. They got really over bearing with them and ended up ditching them
for another couple. I can't remember the name of the episode though.

Didn't Rebecca's husband play a role? Oh, and although they were not an
item at the time, Amy Yasbeck's future husband John Ritter was on.
Don't forget Tony's wife Brooke Adams as the nun.
By the way, I spotted Rebecca Schull as Billy Crystal's mom in Analyze This
and the actor who played Luke, RJ's boyfriend, was in a movie called
Happy,Texas. He played a gay guy in there too!

oh and i almost forgot! Tim's wife played Mrs Tucker in the episode "Have I Got
a Couple for You"

Holy Association! It never even occurred to me that Tim Daly and Tyne
Daly were related... she's from Cagney & Lacey, and now he's going to be
The Fugitive! Weird...

Yes, Rebecca's husband Gene played the guy wearing lederhosen in an episode
that appears next week (the one where Helen has to stay up all night after
getting bumped on the head!)

Ah, that is right!!

>Don't forget Tony's wife Brooke Adams as the nun.

This is bigger than I realized at the time, I had forgotten about both John
Ritter & Brooke Adams' appearances!!

Not to nitpick, but Amy and John were most definitely "an item"...ever since
they worked together in "Problem Child." They just took forever to get
married, last year when their child was a toddler. No big deal except that she
may be the specific reason he got the job, since the show was "family
friendly."

Seems like Steven Weber, Tom Hayden Church and David Schramm were the only ones
who didn't get jobs for anyone...that we know of!

Correct me if i am wrong, I think Tim Daly's
wife appeared on Wings. The episode was about the couple whom Joe and Helen got
obsessed and tried hard to win their friendship and Joe was asking back for his
Michael Bolton's tape when their relationship turn sour.

Tim Daly's sister was once on too, I'm pretty sure. She played that woman the
kinda 'hired' Brian and bought him all that fancy stuff like the car and some
nice clothes. She was kinda middle-aged and snobbish, but I loved that episode.

Yes, that was her... I had forgotten about her appearance! Does anyone
know if MTV's Carson Daly is in any way related to Tim and Tyne?

I have only a limited amount of tape to record episodes, so I would like
to know before hand what episodes are worth recording. I've tried the
record and if I don't like it I'll erase it, but then the image doesn't
come out as clear if I overrecord.

BTW, this is my first time watching Wings.

I don't think Carson's in that Daly family.

Instead of Good Bye Old Friend, make that Das Plane! who could forget Carlton's
first appearance!

Ann-Margret! The funniest scene ever! When I think of Wings that scene
is 1st to come to mind. I think the episode's called Sports and Leisure
(where they're playing Trivial Pursuit and Lowell keeps answering
Ann-Magret!).
Another is the meat slapping fight between Joe and Helen in his kitchen
(I think this ones called Ladies who Lunch)

Actually, I think Good Bye Old Friend was funnier. Carlton is funny, but
only for one episode after that he get's just plain annoying. The first
time I saw Carlton was when Helen had to take care of him because he fell
down her stairs. Thanks for your recommendations though.

HEY, I just got done watching the replay of Good By Old Friend! While
Carlton's first appearance was great, Helen's line "Helen's not here anymore!"
was GREAT!

Hi, fellow Wingnuts! My favorite episode is the one titled "MOTHER WORE
STRIPES"! It's the one in which we meet the Hackett brothers' mother,
played excellently by Barbara Babcock!!

It's the only one featuring their mother, and the final scene in the hanger
between Joe and his mother goes a long way toward explaining why the
brothers developed such different approaches to life!!==William E. Craig,

the Xmas Party at Joe/helens was a classic with ;

Helen "trying to have the perfect Xmas Goose"

Joe trying deperately to get out of the party early to go on to Vermont
ski Vacation, as well as that lame xmas sweater with bells on the nipples

Brian and Casey competing against each other for dates for the holidays;
Brians date is that girl with horrible bad breath that could rip a hole on
the ozone layer, and Casey is deperate enouigh to bring Carlton Blanchard
newphew!!

Roy weeping beause he misses his dragon like mother at Xmas

Antonio went to all the expense to get everyone the perfect gift and all i
think all he got back was sox!

Bud scared to come inside and actually "meet people"

Then the whole mystery of who stole all their wallets from the upstairs bedroom.
