Question regarding Oliver Platt

One of my favorite old shows was "Get Smart," and a man named Edward Platt
starred as the Chief. I am wondering if Edward and Oliver could be related.
Anybody have a clue? Sorry if this has been covered, I have not been tuning
in here much lately.

i haven't the faintest if they're related, but he's not his father. that much i
know for sure. oliver's father is/was (i have no idea if he's living or dead) a
diplomat.

oh, no...it hasn't been covered at all. with deja/google back up you might try
a little research over there to see if it's been talked about on usenet in the
past.

someone actually made an Oliver Platt webpage. how cool is that? and here's the
