I Certainly Hope I'm Not The Only One...

I certainly hope that I'm not the only one that can't stomach Carl
Sack on Boston Legal.

What in the hell is with him, anyway? He just doesn't seem like a
Larroquette character, or an Emmy-worthy one for that matter. He's
definitely nothing more than a plot device and a romantic storyline
pawn which will be gone by season's end, judging by how his story is
being written. No character development whatsoever and suddenly from
his debut episode onward he's in love with a main character? I already
think John is not really on that show as a permanent character. The
only thing permanent about it is his credit in the opening rankout.

The only reason I decided to post this in alt.tv.the-practice instead
of alt.tv.boston-legal is because I can possibly speak to people more
free thinking and less attached at the hip to the show. I've already
pissed off enough fans on the WWW because they hate that I object to
something on their beloved show.

I'm not sure where they are going to go with the character, but I really
like Larroquette as an actor. I got the feeling that Shirley brought
him in, they may have been having a long distance relationship and she
wanted him closer.
Did they say what happened to the other guy? The other partner, can't
think of his last name, Rene something?
