Does anyone know why Jason Kravits left the Practice? Is he doing another
show or going to do movies or what?

I remember someone posting an article that said he was under contract for 2
more years. Not sure if it was accurate or not, but someone in another
thread posed the possibility of him moving to another DEK show. Personally,
I'd love to see him as a new teacher at Boston Public. I could just imagine
him whining to Guber all the time about the kids not respecting him! He'd
be after 7 of 9 for sure as well. Imagine her having to deal with Guber and
the romer Richard Bey!

Hi! There is an article in the 5/25 issue of Entertainment Weekly
which says Jason didn't know he was leaving until D.E.Kelley told him
the day that script came out...

It's not THAT cold if he'll still be paid (I think somebody said he's still
under contract.) Sure, he could have used the warning to look for work but
then we all would have known what was going to happen. It's cool that we
didn't. Anyway, he'll survive -- that's showbiz.

Typically most TV contract have outs in favour of the producers, allowing
them to get rid of a cast member with very little penelties on the producers
end.
