In The Practice episode "Comings and Goings" the last scene is a slow
dance with Alan and Sally. The song that's playing sounds like
something from the 50s and it's GREAT. Anybody know the title
(presumably, I Don't Wanna Cry Anymore" and the ARTIST?
[indistinct]
I'll always love you
[indistinct]
But I don't wanna cry anymore
My heart and I
Have been a fool I know
If you don't love me
Let me go
Cause I don't wanna cry anymore
Oh, darling I've tried
To keep you satisfied
But all my love has been in vain
If you had only cared
[indistinct]
You wouldn't have made my tears
Fall like drops of rain
My heart and I
Have been a fool I know
I guess it's time to close the door
...
I thought I was the only one...
I have been trying to find this song since "Comings and Goings" aired
on April 25, 2004. I have taken a recording of the song to local
"oldies" record stores, and emailed an mp3 to several online experts
on 50s music. All have come up blank (but they all say they like the
song).
Although the song sounds too good to be house music, I have
reluctantly admitted to myself that David E. Kelley probably used
in-house musicians to create the song.
If anyone knows anything about this song, please let me know (and also
the original author of this thread).
