Maybe we can revive it.

You and me and spam :-)

I am in Australia and we recently watch a fanastic few episodes where Smiffy
went undercover. I think he should get a Bafta award for his acting in
those.

I went off The Bill for a long time and got hooked on Eastenders, but now we
unsubscribed to that package on cable (trying to save some money), and went
back to the Bill on free to air. Hope it continues to be action episodes.

Have to admit that, after being hooked on the "old" Bill for many years,
I went off it when it converted to being a soap, where every new recruit
has to have "issues", or a dark secret. I wish they would go back to
being a police procedural, without all the melodrama.

Best wishes.

It has been good lately. I too didn't like it when it turned soap, but seem
to be more action now. Much better.

However if it goes soap again, then I switch off. We started watching it
almost from the first episode. There has been a lot of new people in it, and
I still don't know much about them, not that I really want to - again that
would be like a soap.

Incidentally, do you still get Black Jack with Colin Friels in Oz? We
saw a couple of these on The BBC a couple of years ago and thought it
was excellent.

Sorry Mike, I don't know anything about Black Jack, but Colin Friels I like
too.

He was a Sydney cop working cold cases in a basement after being in
disgrace for ratting on a crooked colleague. very well written.

I could have been overseas when it was on, but I will keep an eye out for
repeats. Thanks.
