Teletubbies just became part of the local PBS morning line-up here so my
22 month old son has begun watching it. Some of it seems aimed at very
young babies (the laughing baby sun, for instance), yet some of the clips
of real children seem more appropriate for toddlers and young children in
general. Does anyone know what the age is of most teletubbies viewers
(other than we parents who end up watching too)? Just curious--if my son
doesn't like it he won't watch it anyway, no matter who it was created
for! :)

Teletubbies is aimed typically at pre-school toddlers/babies.
It is an invaluable learning tool for the very young, but children of any
age can enjoy it, so the real age range is anywhere from 1 to 100.

There is a very large adult following over here, as well as Germany;
Estonia; Australia and even Japan to name but a mere few.

Well, I'm 26
I never watch on purpose but when I change channels and it's there, I
can't help but watch. it's compelling,sureal and very very trippy.

It seems to have have a bit of a cult following amongst UK clubbers.
It's great to mong out to at 7 on Sunday morning, after returning form
a heavy club session.
