Hey, has anyone tried Tubby custard yet? It's made by some yoghurt company
whose name escapes me... But it's yummy and has pictures of the tubbies on
the lids! Yayyyy!!!! It's probably not available yet in the US, but you can
get it in the UK and definitely should!

Seeing as Mindslider <minds...@lineone.net> wrote an intelligent <g>
post I decided to reply to it

Um yep I tried it
It tastes exactly like Strawberry yoghurt without any lumps in.
Also you get a free game with it (like join the dots and see what you
get)

Hmmm, Tubby toast is the best - from M & S. I imagine tubby custard
would be strawberry flavoured and therefore not to my taste (altho
Steffi may enjoy it)

almost cried when I couldn't find it there! Right, I'm off to M&S tomorrow

Why waste money buying Tubby Custard? I made my own a couple of times by
adding red food colouring to yellow custard to give it that delicate pink
hue. It went over quite well with my two boys (aged 2 and 4), particularly
as they were listening to "Teletubbies Say Eh Oh!" on the hi fi while they
slurped.

oooh---i'm not the biggest fan of the teletubbies but i'll heartily advocate
the eating of that tubby toast...it is soooooo good!! it's very like a
local bread-thing we have in the north-east of scotland (rowies) and it's
been reported that a guy in england bought a pack of tubby toast, realised
the similarities between it and the rowie and is now forever grateful to
Markies....

Damn. Didn't think of that. I'll have to make some of those
tubical bowls, now. Wonder where I can salvage some clear
plastic tubing from.

Simon.

It's St Ivel who manufacture Tubby Custard and it's available at all
supermarkets - I get it either at Tesco, Safeway or Sainsburys !

It's Yummy !!!
