Have never had this problem before today and I'm guessing I hit a button or combination of buttons to set reception to the secondary audio programming (SAP) - in my case Spanish for some stations, no audio for others.

Neither unit set or remote have SAP buttons and no help from websites or tech support.

Signal from antenna is fed to a Magnavox ZV450MW8A VCR/DVD with digital tuner, which connects to the input of Panasonic PVQ2512 VCR/TV.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

There isn't usually a dedicated SAP button. Did you try cycling through
the aduio options? There should be a button marked Audio or some such.

Thanks, Patty. Yeah, I think I hit them all. Panasonic manual for this TV says it doesn't have SAP. I did the same for the DVD tuner.

Anything new enough to have a digital tuner has to have SAP, and
anything new enough to support DVD should, too.

I just downloaded the user manual for the Magnavox. Page 33 tells
how to activate SAP.

Thanks, Patty! I tried 33 and it didn't change, but looking at p 32, that was what I needed. Somehow I couldn't find this in the manual until you pointed me there. Tech support blamed the problem on the TV.
