Anyone here live in RB? Any luck receiving an over the air signal? I
live near the Lake Hodges. Any ideas who in San Diego may know if there
is coverage in RB.

Carl, are you using an indoor antenna, or one mounted on your roof?
Also, is there a clean line-of-sight to Mt. Wilson from your location?
(I'm in Aliso Viejo, and am curious what kind of reception I can expect
when I hook-up my reciever)

The Telecommunications Act of 1996 expressly invalidates virtually all HOA
restrictions on outdoor TV antennas, as well as satellite dishes under 1 meter
in diameter.
When you say roof mount, is that inside your attic or on your rooftop?
I'm not being sarcastic, but HOAs usually don't allow mounting antennas
on rooftops. I had mine in my attic for analog TV for years and it's OK,
similar reception to cable. Will it work for HDTV? I live in Laguna
Niguel. Is the antenna direction precise like a satalite dish? What
channels do you get from LA (or don't get)? Are there any cheap HDTV
converters out there. I heard RCA makes a DSS system with an HDTV
converter for about $600 but I already have DSS so I just want the HDTV.
