So basically, if you pile your branches up to within a quarter-inch of the
string, it'll burn through fairly quickly, right? Jeff distinctly said the
twigs couldn't touch the string, but it looked like Rich was the only one
who had the (pick one) gaul/comprehension/nerve to pile up the kindling
until it *almost* touched the string. Geez, as I recall, it looked like
Rudy and Colleen basically piled their wood like a regular campfire. Did
Rich stretch the rules a bit, or was he the only one who understood the
object of the challenge?

I'll take 'comprehension' for $500, Alex. Rich is a smart
guy... he followed the instructions to the letter and ensured his own
survival (although it would seem he'd have been safe even without it
this week... if the non-Alliance gang couldn't get their act together
against Sue, they weren't going to do it against anyone).
Now that the final four pic has been blown out of the water
thanks to a wacky camera angle trick (gotta love CBS for pulling that
little stunt), what's the verdict on the 'Beach' pic?
That specific shot DID air in the opening credits again this
week, but did NOT air after the immunity challenge... and given the
lack of lighting at the firepit, one might presume that Rich wins
immunity AGAIN in either Week 11 or 12.
Anyone care to speculate further?
And are there any early picks for next week's show? 'Cause if
the Alliance doesn't fold, 'Sitting Duck' or Dr. Sean are done for.

To me, he stretched the rules by stacking wood DURING the burning
stage. That seems like a much bigger violation. Stacking high is just
crafty.
He milks every opportunity for all its worth. You have to respect
that. Maybe not admire it, but at least respect it. Spotting the gray
areas and exploiting them gives a person one hell of an advantage.
And his goofy victory dance was one of the most honest reactions in
the series. But man, was it goofy.

Without Richard as the villian this show would be as lame as big brother.
Survivor needs Rich the villian more than the tribe needs his Ray & Rice.

It's the "Who Shot J.R." thing all over again. We love watching to see when
the villain gets his due. I can't stand Richard, I tune every week to hate
Richard some more. Thank goodness this show has Richard.
And oddly enough, I love the guy for it.
