In the new hardcopy addition of TV Guide for February 1-7. 2010, the
one with Grey's Anatomy's Ellen Pompeo on the cover, in response to
an "Ask TV Guide Magazine" question on page 4, Jeff tells us why
Fairplay isn't in "Heroes Vs. Villains:"

"Why isn't Johnny Fairplay part of Survivor's 20th season?"

----Lisa Lee, Stevens Point, Wis.

TV Guide: "'The reason that Fairplay isn't here is that this season
is called Heroes vs. Villains, not Survivor Quitters,' host Jeff
Probst recently said, Ouch!"

LOL!

Cute! But I wonder if the real explanation is that Fairplay turned
them down. I still find it hard to believe that probably the series'
most recognizable villain wasn't even considered by Burnett and Probst.

It's my understanding that Probst doesn't like him at all and has said
that Dalton isn't allowed to appear anywhere Probst is (at Probst's
request).
Considering he quit the last time he was on, chances are he was never asked.

I expect quitting is what sealed his fate. There's no need to ask
someone back who quit the last time they were on. Especially given
that nothing had happened to make JFP need to quit. When people like
Mike and Russell (from S19) are trying to stay in the game when they
clearly shouldn't there's no way they would bring back a quitter and
especially not for a special season like 'Heroes versus Villains.'

They patched things up awhile ago and they were both at the big Survivor
cast reunion January 9. I'm not saying that Jeff loves Fairplay now but he
won't avoid the guy.

In what way Mike and Russell (Hantz) "clearly shouldn't" stay in the
game?

Turned them down to concentrate on his wildly successful
career as a… umm… What has the guy done lately?

Stupid Johnny Foreskin, "Heroes vs. Villains" is tailor made
for a guy him but he blew it last time, when he quit because
he knew he wouldn't win the million dollars.

About Jeff P. not liking JFP, Elmo said:

"waaaaaah, crybaby Probst. Jesus, man, grow a pair."

Elmo is REALLY Artie Lange.

Ah! I see! I should had gotten the connection! But he should had put
the "S" at the end of Russell. Yes, compared to Johnny Fairplay,
Russell Swan and Mike are heroes LOL!
