Wild Speculation: Young discovers (probably via a memory leak from
Telford into Young's brain) that Rush TOLD Telford that Young was having
an affair on the Destiny! Rush might have done so in hopes of splitting
Young from his wife so that he would be "fully committed" to the Destiny
mission. This new information gives Young the opportunity to deny
Telford's allegations about his "affair" without questioning Telford's
honesty.

That's actually kinda interesting. I certainly wouldn't put it past Rush to
put more fuel in that fire in such a circuitous way, although that fire was
already burning quite nicely so I doubt he'd have to fan the flames more.
