"Life": Scott borrows Telford's body on a commstone visit to Earth,
while Telford borrows Scott's body. Later, Scott experiences Telford's
memories of partying with Young's wife Emily! It appears that when one
swaps bodies via commstone, one gets leaks from the memories of the
other person. I therefore expect that Young will get memory leaks from
Telford, and Telford will get memory leaks from Rush (who inhabited his
body in the premiere), Young, and Scott. Such memory leaks may prove
interesting.

However these memory-leaks work, I doubt you can get them from someone other
than whose body you're currently inhabiting.

I figure that Young and Telford should have gotten memory leaks from each other
from when they inhabited each other's bodies for several days during "Earth".

Maybe a memory leak takes awhile to surface.

"Should have"? Do you even know what the conditions are for having a memory
leak? I'm pretty sure the device has failsafes to ensure they don't happen.
Granted, one did, but that was probably a glitch caused by trying to emulate
the original. Otherwise, you'd probably have both minds in both bodies
simultaneously, or at least some severe privacy violations. Its not
supposed to happen during normal operation, and it will probably be
difficult to replicate intentionally. Even then, the glitch probably has to
do with brining long-term memories back into short-term memory, so anyone
who experiences it will be aware of it as it happens and not suddenly have
someone else's flashbacks while not connected.

I don't think so. Accessing someone else's long-term memory like that would
be like me accessing your harddrive. While I could potentially access all
your files, I can only copy the ones I can actually see. If I'm not aware
of the file, I can't click on it. Even if we're talking about a virus, it
must first be running, which requires it to be in your computer's random
access (short-term) memory before it can send itself across the network onto
my computer's RAM so it can copy itself to my harddrive (long-term memory).
Something must be perceived before it can remembered, and remembering
something makes it easier to remember. I doubt anything will cross over a
stone connection without being percieved first.

I think that goes without saying. I don't see why he should even consider
it. I think the Destiny crew has more important things to deal with than
meddling in the affairs of military personel like teenaged girls in a
sit-com. Not that I couldn't see Scott and Eli hiding in the bushes to see
who Emily is having secret meetings with.

Deus ex machina? A Wizard Did It?

It could've been a glitch due to external factors, like how dropping out of
lightspeed can cause people to temporarily switch back. It wouldn't even
have to be local to either side. Maybe a star somewhere along the line of
transmission went supernova and some memories leaked before the device could
adjust.

Have any of Scott's memories leaked into Telford's mind?

Telford: Emily, don't drink that wine! I just had a flashback of some priest
drinking himself to death!

Young could argue that he needs to know if Telford is planning another attempt
to hijack the Destiny, so needs the ability to tap into his memories.
