I will have to check my commstone/parallel universe users manual and get
back to you.

So we would have Everett swapping minds with an alternate Telford and
visiting an alternate Emily!
Ok I checked the commstone/Parallel universe manual as well as the
experts in parallel universe theory. Apparently there is a theory that
deals exactly with this quasi scenario, called the "crowding echo
effect". The basis for this theory is this: if destiny(a) went into a
parallel universe(b) than destiny(b) also went into a parallel
universe(c). Destiny(c) went to universe(e).etc. etc. etc. Now each
Destiny's commstones tries to communicate to the SGC's commstones. The
resultant ECHO effect would be so deafening that none of the commstones
would be able to receive a clear transmission.
The Crowding Echo Effect says this about that:
"Obviously, all my quasi-identical copies from nearby parallel
universes quasi-identical to my own Universe, would be trying to send
quasi-identical information via quasi-identical ways at quasi-identical
times: so we could all be creating so much noise as to make the
reception of any message next-to-impossible.
Even more paradoxically, we could actually be reading each others
message: but since those messages would all be quasi-identical to each
other, we could mistakenly convince ourselves that we were listening
each one only to his own echo."
So thats my quasi answer. Hope this quasi-helps.
Whats really mind blowing is that 100's of my quasi self's are also
typing this quasi answer and about to push send. Here we go boys...
