Was MS going to get married to Vaitiare Bandera? According to a
website Vaitiare's family consisted of:

family : Was married to Peter Bandera. Daughter, Tatiana (born in 1998)
with Michael Shanks.

Why does it say with Micheal Shanks? Unless he is the father of the
child?

Haven't the faintest idea if they were going to get married, but yes, Tatiana
is MS's daugther.

I hope RDA is reading this.

MS has a Daugher AND a full-time commitment.

To be fair, AFAIK, MS's daughter lives in Vancouver unlike RDA's
daughter who lives in LA. IMO, that makes the difference.

I used to be disgusted. Now I try to be amused.

Nope, I think Tatiana lives in LA with her mum.

I would bet he would miss her.. MS has something in common with RDA.
But you know, when someone is determined to do something (such as RDA
spending less time onset, so he can be with his child).. then they will
do it. SG-1 has held together so long.. it would be a shame to drop out
before Season 8, if that is the last season. But I guess you gotta do
what you gotta do. ;-)

I think the thing that makes the biggest difference between MS and RDA is that
RDA's father died after a quick illness, and RDA is about what? 15 years older,
so he realizes that family time is more precious. He's also an executive
producer, so that's more work than just acting.

But while I miss O'Neill, I think RDA's lucky to be in the position to be able
to devote himself to his family more than his job. I think millions of
Americans would love to do the same thing if they could.

(long) drive away
