Tupac sucks

Tupac sucks. the actor is hiding behind "vulcans are logical" because the
guy can't act.
vulcans are not unemotional, they CHOOSE to practice a philosophy of
"peace thru logic". you may ask why? I'll tell you anyways: they have a
very violent past, they once practiced selective breeding to hone their
mental powers for war and conquest. then one vulcan stood up and said
words to the effect of "peace via logic". the movement spread, and most
vulcans now follow. some left and evolved into romulans.
some examples of non-logical vulcans: spock (1/2 human)
spocks father chose non-vulcan wife, not logical decision love?
in death all vulcans become emotional, why? repression. it's not like
their emotion chips are suddenly "on"
vulcans have that 7yr mating/emotion thing.
vulcans don't shake hands because then they are overwhelmed with emotions
from other person, and they don't want to invade privacy. that's an
emotional response, if vulcans are just logical, why would they care about
anyone else's privacy?
spocks bride made spock return to vulcan to duel for her as revenge for
having to be engaged to a 1/2 human, not very logical.
vulcan traditions re: mairrage, rites of passage, duels etc. logicaly
there are more efficient ways to do those things, they practice traditions
for _emotional_ reasons, there is no logical reason to follow traditions,
just change them.
if vulcans are just logical, why even exist? why bother to be in a
federation? there is an emotional response, help earth/others.
in the undiscovered country the female vulcan takes spocks "orders" too
far and creates havoc. an extreme, but where is tupac being at all
vulcan? spock often used logic to pull the enterprise out of an
impossible problem no computer could solve, I've never witness tupac do
anything except look like an idiot.
where was tupacs mental powers? spock could "feel" the power of V'ygor in
the first movie, often used mental powers. did he even notice the borg?
could he tap into the collective, or maybe heal a borg out of the
collective. he's a useless peice of crap. what about species 3248 or
whatever the number is, how come he didn't telepathicaly link with them if
he's full vulcan with impressive mental powers. a romulan has more
intellectual power than this "vulcan" and more mental powers!

And the problem with this is what exactly? Tuvok returns to those dark
roots in Meld, for example.

Vulcan's aren't totally logical - just where they choose to be through
training and upbringing. I'm sure they're well aware that when it comes to
mating etc, it is most logical to be illogical (as Spock in one episode).

It is logical to respect the beliefs and mores of others, if you want them

There's no logical reason to change them either. Traditions usually become
traditions by the fact that they work well enough for people to continue
with them.

And get shot in a drive-by. Spock is science officer, and thus faces the
sort of problems that logic can solve. Tuvok, for example, is Security
Officer, in which case it is logical for him to take the steps of locking
up criminals like Suder, defending his ship and crew in combat etc. Being a
logical Vulcan, he can work out what to do just right, and not get carried
away with bloodlust like certain other species of Security Officer...

Tuvok has mentally linked with many people/beings throughout the series -
Kes, Janeway, Suder etc.

worth the time to list them. Especially since your post lacks
credibility in many respects.
You should spend more time studing for your classes at Arizona State.

I love the evolution of Star Trek Voyager characyers/ They are always under
devlopment. This season promises to be a big opportunity for Voiyager.
Tuvok is a strange character who is not developed by the Sytar Trek
writers. I think the writers should guive him more feelings to explorer.
And he should go hand to hand combat aginst the Jem Heddar! That will prove
that he is a real man!
We must also explore the sexual connections between Tuvok and 7of 9. They
are both very robotic and repress their biological feelings.

missed that, but it _should_ be part of his character, not something that

point is, tuvac is not part of the show. he just exists in his own little
episode, as far as I can tell he contributes _nothing_ to getting back to
the alpha quadrandt nor to entertainment

my point, and I do have one, is _why_ do vulcans want others to respect
their whatever? that is an emotioal decision, not logical. ie, the borg
(who are being ruined) don't care about privacy, hence don't care who's in
the hive so long as they do nothing.
at a deep level they are "human". it doesn't need, nor should it, come
out on every show, but I've never seen _one_ reference to anything vulcan.

what ideas? why would she have other ideas? wouldn't spock simply explain
logic, then she would accept, or vice versa?

traditions are a way to hold onto the past, that is only purpose by
definition. it is _logical_ to be efficient, and duels to the death are
not efficient.

Tuvok rapping is not hard to imagine. Vulcans are highly intelligent and
Tuvok can learn rapping verry easily. All he needs to do is consult with
20th century artists in the Voyafer's library.

Other than sexual appeal of large breasted women to people
who find that feature alluring (I'll admit to being in that
group), they have no measurable value over other women in

Since it is a proven fact that non-nursing women who have
large breasts are a normally a result of how their body
stores fat cells in those tissues and not caused by milk
production, Nana Visitor is currently producing more milk
for an infant's consumption then is Jeri Ryan. By your own
argument, that means Nana is more valuable of a woman,

Owning common stock in AOL does not give you any rights to
