Quick question... exactly how many members from the old TV show "Benson" ended
up as characters in Star Trek (Any series)?
I can think of three off the top of my head, but was curious to know if there
are more.
Don't know actor's names but characters are:
Maj Kira
Odo
Neelix
Duane Reynolds
. . .According to Tim Russ, when Voyager was in the
development phase and Tuvok was conceived as a much older character,
TPTB were thinking about casting Robert Guillaume.

Phillps) wife on Benson. I've seen a number of people make this mistake,
though I don't know why. I don't see any resemblance between the two
actresses, myself.

Same here. Not only don't they look alike, I would think Nana Visitor
would be several years younger. I was thinking she might have had a
bit part at some point. Thanks for the information.

But does anyone remember the short-lived "Working Girl" TV series
based on the movie? The Melanie Griffith role was played by a
then-unknown Sandra Bullock, and the Sigourney Weaver role was
played by Nana Visitor.

If I'm not mistaken (and I might be) Nana Visitor also had a brief stint
on "Ryan's Hope."

episode w/George Kennedy. Ethan Phillips had already left the show
by that episode.)
