And boy was he nasty! He was responsible for the deaths of several
Apaches!
Brad
He was mostly always a heavy in Westerns and a nasty one. It's an
accomplishment really when an actor you like can create a character so
thoroughly evil that you forget you are cheering for them to get theirs
in the end. Of course what passed for nasty bad guys in the 50s-70s is
pretty tame these days.

Before Star Trek he was quite popular in cowboy mvoies / shows. :-)
He did four episodes, IIRC.
I remember one of them also had John Hoyt ("The Man Trap" - Dr. Boyce)
in it. Always nice when you get a TOS actor twofer on other shows!
He was even in 'Gunfight at the OK Coral'!
On the other side then. ;-)

He was a heavy (murderer) in his film debut, Fear In the Night ..
Like a few other folks like George Takei and Leonard Nimoy, he also did
a Perry Mason guest shot. Odlly it seems the two shows that seem to
have the most Trek actors-- whether big parts or small parts-- were
Perry Mason and Matlock (Jonathan Frakes, Nana Visitor, James Sloyan,
et al).

Dont forget most of them were on Mission Impossible at one time or other.
Good lord! Too much nog, not enough egg.
CORRECTION: John Hoyt ("The Cage" - Dr. Boyce)
But you knew that...
And Twilight Zone.
They also happened to be on a funny little, short-lived show called
"Star Trek". ;-)
And Columbo.
Spotted Frakes also on Hillstreet Blues once.
And Visitor was on MacGyver. Plus Dark Angel.
Hey, hey, hey.
This is a tos group.
We don't care about pretty boy Frakes, or waanabe "tomboy" Kira.
Although she sure was cute.<g>
