>In your opinion, which are the three WORST Star Trek: Deep Space Nine
>(DS9) episodes?
Vic Fontaine singing.
Pretty much every episode where they're playing in the holodeck ...
especially the ones where it's the entire command staff at the same time
during the middle of a war while sitting on THE most important spot in the
quadrant. :-\
The holodeck (along with "ye olde Rest button") was simply invented by
lazy-ass writers who couldn't come up with stories that actually fit into
the "Star Trek" universe. It allows them to do any old rubbish and pretend
it's still "Star Trek". :-(
1 - Fields of Fire - The Federation bans all non Starfleet knowledge
of firearms technology, which means that basic chemistry, metal
working, and physics must be Verboten in Federation schools (What
would Kirk have done without that know how?)
2 - Dax pesters Worf to go to Risa, bring a swimsuit, and work on
their relationship. Worf does all three so Dax immediately runs off to
have fun with someone else once they get there and complains that Worf
is mean when he wants to be an adult work on their relationship. Worf
was way more mature than 300-whatever year old Dax.
3 - Garak is Damar's buddy when they meet up, with no coverage of the
Ziyal thing. (Kira got some coverage of it, but never Garak.)
Hon. mention - Garak tailors Dax's wedding dress and the rest of the
crew gets to have a happy episode with no mention of his girlfriend.
Serious, that's about it, a few fanboi nits. DS9 was an EXCELLENT
series.
I loved most of DS9, but the last season wasn't very good, and the
finale was a crime against the series and the viewers.

"Please, I can't die, I've never kissed an Asian woman!"
Shego on "Shat My Dad Says"
Any episode in which Kira demonstrates her brain dead spirituality or
religiosity by mindlessly following that evil leader of the Bajoran's
pointless superstition.
ANY episode that is about that religious gibberish nonsense. :-(
But there's more than three of those...
Yep. The best part of Emissary was them totally disproving the Bajoran
religion.
Good point "Yep they're aliens, this is how it works guys!"
