For some strange reason, LeBron James has felt compelled to chime in
about politics over the past couple years despite clearly not having
much knowledge in that area. The guy supported Hillary Clinton. Tells
you pretty much all you need to know.

Recently, LeBron came out and said that Trump doesn’t care about
people. Which is weird because the people of Ohio, LeBron’s home state,
voted for Trump. Clearly, they feel otherwise.

Shortly after that, Fox News’ Laura Ingraham came out and told LeBron
to stick to basketball.

From Breitbart:

“I’m numb to this commentary,” Ingraham stated. “Must they
run their mouth like that? A lot of kids and some adults
take these ignorant comments seriously. Look, there might
be a cautionary lesson in Lebron for kids: This is what
happens when you attempt to leave high school a year early
to join the NBA. And it’s always unwise to get political
advice from someone gets paid $100 million a year to bounce
a ball. Oh, LeBron and Kevin [Durant], you’re great players,
but no one voted for you. Millions elected Trump to be
their coach. So, keep the political commentary to yourself,
or as someone once said, shut up and dribble.”

The left freaked out and called Laura racist as usual and LeBron
responded with some nonsense about being some kind of Civil Rights
figure.

Fox Sports 1’s Jason Whitlock took exception to that and put LeBron in
his place pretty easily.

Speak For Yourself
“If LeBron really wants to be like Ali and MLK, he should
sharpen his point of view by engaging with his critics.” —
@WhitlockJason
6:09 PM - Feb 20, 2018

From The Daily Caller:

Whitlock, speaking on Tuesday’s episode of his “Speak For
Yourself” podcast, called James’ assertions “well intentioned”
but “laughable.”

“It’s laughable. It’s foolish. It cheapens the boldness and
courage it takes to truly compete in the marketplace of
ideas.”

“LeBron James is well-intentioned, but if he truly wants to
be a powerful voice on social issues, he needs to have his
sharpened by competing in the marketplace of ideas,” Whitlock
flatly stated. “Or he can remain blind to the simple things
he clearly doesn’t know.”

Here’s the full clip.

https://youtu.be/3xsr3rFPk2U

Whitlock is absolutely right.

LeBron is doing a disservice to people like Martin Luther King and the
Civil Rights leaders who put their lives on the line for a noble cause.

A lot of this is the media’s fault. They are the ones pretending that
LeBron’s political opinions matter. How many factory workers in Akron
do you think LeBron has sat down with lately to talk about Trump? How
many welders in Alabama do you think he’s asked about Trump? Has he
asked one of the millions of people who were given a bonus because of
Trump’s tax plan if Trump cares about them? He’d probably feel a little
differently about his comments.

It’s not racist to tell LeBron to stick to things he knows about. If he
wants to actually study the situation and learn a couple things before
chiming in that’s a different story.

Supporting a candidate like Hillary and then claiming that Trump
doesn’t care about people is almost too hypocritical to handle.

Dems & the media want Trump to be more like Obama, but then he'd
have to audit liberals & wire tap reporters' phones.

Namely that he's a lot smarter than the morons who didn't.
Great post!

Obviously, since you were unable to provide a counter-argument.

Ad hominem noted. Get back to us when you have a real argument to make.

Nonresponse noted. Get back to us when you have a real argument to make.

I'm supposed to respond in kind? OK!

Oh, the irony!

Deflection noted.
Non-response noted.
Non-sequitur noted.

Do try to work on not being such a sore loser, mkay?
One would think you'd be used to it by now...

Uh-oh! Looks like someone was "triggered" after losing another debate
with me!

Your problem - well, *one* of your problems - is that you think calling
someone an asshole (or words to that effect) is actually a form of debate.

UbiClown just posted an already debunked message about CNN scripting
it's town hall.

CNN provided the undoctored email that shows the father of the student
that claimed to have been "scripted" actually edited the CNN email,
before he sent it as his "proof".

MS Word tracks changes to documents, and this one had been altered. Ubi
knows this, I'm sure... but he posts a debunked hoax because he's an
asshole.

So I call him an asshole because he's an asshole.
Yes, I call assholes assholes. You have a problem with that, snowflake?
