that even includes some....some rap. I have over 500 CD's, and music is
the greatest thing in the world. Even bands/artists I can't stand, I
still try and figure out why people like them, and I don't really say
much about it. UNTIL NOW! DMX sucks so bad, I'd rather listen to my
celing fan for 12 hours!! His voice sucks, his rhymes sucks, his stage
presence sucks, his "band" sucks, he just plain sucks ass!!!!!!!
IF there is anyone who can convince me, that this guy is good....I'll
give you my 500 CD's!! And "selling records" does NOT count! I do like
some of today's rap.........
Jay Z, I can handle! Clever rhymes, good voice, and good beats. You call
DMX hip hop?? No Way!
So to those of you who are over the age of 20 or so, do you agree with
me?? Kids don't count here, because that's the target audience. But
again, I just don't understand.
We've all discussed Britney, Backstairs Boys, N-sync etc....and sure I
don't care for them, but I understand why most people like them. I'm
certainly not going to post a message saying they suck. I can't justify
it, because my opinion does not count. They're songs are catchy, nice
voices, good looking (not that it matters, but have you ever seen a
"Ratchel Drasch" singing sensation)?, they sell out arenas...not the
outhouses that DMX plays, kids don't have to hide the CD from their
parents...etc!!
But DMX.....well you read what I had to say. That is no opinion.....that
is a plain and simple FACT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If anyone disagrees (over 21) I'm interested in your argument.

people like him. Originally, he got underground fans because of his vocal
ferocity. However, most of them ignore him now, because you can't stand on
vocal ferocity alone for very long. He also lost a lot of hardcore fans because
he made about 3 albums in two years, which threw any chances of creativity out
the window. At this point, he is mostly liked by white kids at high schools
like mine who want to seem tough in front of girls. He really is no longer
grouped with rappers in my book, he's more of a Limp Bizkit-style braindead
SOB.

That can also be explained about the band. He didn't show up for Thursday
rehearsal, which means he rehearsed that performance twice at the most. The
band was pretty good probably, I don't think they regularly tour with him, but
they couldn't get the song down because he thought he was too fucking big to
show up for rehearsal.

That would be me. Thanks. He had potential in my opinion, but he ruined it by
hooking up with Swiss Beatz, the most untalented producer in rap and possibly
music history. All his songs consist of 2 to 5 notes and he has twice stolen
beats for songs from his Casio keyboard. I don't think Casio will even allow
him to buy their products any more because of that. DMX came out of the gate
really strong, and his first few singles were great, but Swiss Beatz killed his
career with his two note keyboard samples. As I said, the only people who like
him now are snotty white high-schoolers who think they will seem more "ghetto"
if they go around saying "Where my dawgs at?"

Man, YOU NEED SO MUCH HELP. I don't care how damn deferential you THINK you're
being towards B. Spears or the Backstreet Boys or NSynch, if you can't keep an
