You need to write NBC, get and sign the release form first, then send in
submissions to them at 30 Rockerfeller Plaza in NYC

You can send it to them at 30 Rock. And they'll send it right
back to you with a letter from their lawyers saying that they
didn't read the material nor do they read any submissions
that come through the mail. At least, that's what they kept
telling me several years ago. I tried getting around it by
mailing directly to Rob Schneider -- he never responded (and
it didn't matter because a month or two later, he left the
show).
At least I got responses from real people when Letterman
started the Late Show.

I imagine they get plenty of unsolicited submissions. Not that they don't read
them. Did you sign the release form signing over your soul in blood yet?
Because I think that's part of the whole process.
Keep on truckin,

No, there was no release form to sign. The letter was unmistakable in that
they had writers and they weren't looking for writers. I don't remember
if it said that they "didn't need new writers", which looking back, would
be a great laugh, because after the last number of years, it was quite
obvious that they did.
Just think, SNL, you could've been something so much more, but you passed
on your chance. A shame, really.
