Dukakis puppet commercial

I just saw the SNL Dukakis commercial with the creepy puppet for
George Bush(sr) & the wimpy looking Dukakis commercial. Loved it when
he jeered in fear at the sparks.

Any story about this commercial? I initially though they were spitting
image puppets, but they looked quite a bit different. Real oddball
sketch to show on SNL, as this was pre-TV Funhouse. Might as well
group that sketch with that '85 game show sketch with Captain
Kangaroo.

I watched some of that SNL special last nite. And I've been thinking
all day about that hilarious split-second where the Dukakis puppet
flinches at the sparks. I know nothing about the context or origin of
that clip. But if you find it on youtube, let me know.
