Beauty and the Beast, a police procedural hybrid loosely based off the 1987
TV series of the same name, is as good as finished, according to TV by the
Numbers. Managing to receive an index score of only 0.48 in a non-Friday
time slot, Beauty and the Beast has seen its lowest viewer ratings of the
entire second season in the past several weeks. Needless to say, don’t
expect Beauty and the Beast to come back for another season.
