wanna bet when the red queen moves forward in her seat to expose her
face ....

it's Martha Kent.

Senator Kent gained access to the Checkmate file and now she is working
against them to protect Clark and his superfriends.

Nice legs Annette (although maybe a body double)

I think it's Martha as well Annette is far from old and soggy she is a
beautiful mature woman. Mature obviously being the opposite of anyone
who comes on here calling someone "old and soggy."

From the spoiler photos, it looks like they forgot that Martha's a redhead.
Or maybe they just don't have the budget to dye her hair.

You people keep forgetting that SV ratings have been in the toilet for
years, that's why they keep fireing different actors, what ever you
think you saw, it wasn't Annette, it was some office secratary asked
to sit in a chair in the dark, being in the dark and not recognizable
means they don't have to pay a lot of cash to the person if any.

They're cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep.

They've killed off dozens of interesting characters over the years. It's
surprising this show has lasted so long with this kind of bodycount.

I think you have to go to the seasonal bodycounts for those:

It's not only that people are getting iced - and often. It's also the
odd ways they buy it.
Not to mention the bizarre circumstances both leading up to, and
following, their demise.

Doesn't seem to be much news about them either(?????)

Who would want to live in such a place...

It's definitely not the Metropolis of the comics. It's more like Gotham.

"Both Superman's Metropolis and Batman's Gotham City are said by some to be
comic book representations of New York City, but the visions of both comics
are very different. "Metropolis is New York by day; Gotham City is New York
by night" is a statement that has been attributed to both comic book writers
Frank Miller and John Byrne. "

It could be... The red shoes made me think of Tess -- I can't see Martha
sporting red high heels anytime. However not much makes sense since the
show has gone comic crazy.

I figure so too, this also explains why Martian Manhunter is working
with the Red Queen but won't provide any details to Clark. O'Toole is
returning to the show in the correct time frame for the Red Queen to
be revealed, almost at the end of the season. The pieces of the
puzzle all seem to fit Martha better than anyone else.

The folks at Comic-Con would have sold their firstborns for this
scoop, but here not so much as a fruit basket in appreciation. ;-)

No, the red queen is going to be Hoppy the Marvel Bunny.

It won't make any difference to the pooh slingers who she is, no point

*ZZZZZZZZZZZ*"
"Oh it's Aunt Nell, never missed her after she left the show. *SNORE*"

"Oh it's [fill in the blank] and [blah blah blah] that was lame" is
going to be the response no matter what. That's the one thing we can
indeed predict with a fair amount of certainty.
