Six Feet Under Convention Comes to Bournemouth

'SIX FEET UNDER'
An exhibition of flamboyant funeral merchandise will feature as part of
the first Six Feet Under convention, which is taking place in
Bournemouth from 12-14 August, 2011.
Six Feet Under was a series set in an American funeral home famous for
its ground-breaking presentation of the issues around death and dying
and included a number of gay main characters. It ran for five series
between 2001-2005. The episodes are now being re-aired on Sky Atlantic.
Such has been the interest generated by the convention, an open-air
public exhibition of coffins created using traditional materials and
crafts, will accompany the convention in Bournemouth Triangle on the
Saturday and Sunday.
There will also be unusual hearses, balloons and a release of doves. In
the best seaside tradition, you�ll also have the chance to pose for a
photograph in a coffin.
