Okay, I need help with a scene from that episode. When Homer goes
through the bathroom window and crashes in, he sees Barney who says to
him: "Hey Homer! I'd like you to meet my friends, Armando and Raffi."
Then Homer comes out of the bathroom grumbling about this. Simply put, I
don't get this one. Is there a joke and/or reference that I'm missing?
Please help me out with this!

I think it is more a commentary on the upscale nature of Moe's after he
becomes famous for the "Flaming Moe", with Barney dressed in designer
suits hanging out with guys with pony tails.. It could also be a spoof of
"Cheers", as they do a Cheers-esque bit with the song "At Flaming Moe's",
which would parrallel the time frmae where Sam comes back to Cheers after
sinking his boat to find the bar full of ferns and yuppies.

But then again, what the heck do I know?

Errr... isn't it just that Homer is disgusted with Barney for hanging out with the
two suits. The suited chaps wouldn't have enterd Moe's if not for Homer's drink
& so he's pised-off.

Simple really.
