The Simpson House: where the hell is the front door?

There seems to be two front doors in the Simpson house.
The first front door is part of the room with the TV and the couch up
against the wall. The second front door is at the bottom of the stair case.
Is there a blueprint-type, over view of the house? Because it doesn't make
sense to me.

thats true, it seems there are two front doors. That seems to be one of
those things they use whenever they feel like it deals. Maybe one was
used only in earlier episodes i'm not sure. As far as the blueprints, i
would think the closest thing would be the replica house that they made
and offered in a contest. I think it models the simpson house
accurately, with modifications where things are just impossible and the
like.

The door by the couch and TV is the back door.

Almost all modifications were only made to make the second floor fit on
top of the first floor. Since the iffy first season and Tracy Ullman days, the
floors have been consistant among themselves. The door in the TV room is the
back door. (There's an unofficial layout for the Simpson house at

That's the garage door, which is in a half-hallway off of the kitchen. The
basement door is also there.
