When I watched "Gremlins" last weekend, in one scene Billy's father
demonstrated some of his inventions and among them was - yes, an
electric hammer. It seemed to have more batteries then Homer's one,
but it worked the same way.
So, poor Homer could not sell it as his own invention anyway...
