So far I can think of two:

A couch gag in which the Simpsons take their seats as normal, when
suddenly the infamous foot from the opening credits of "Monty Python's
Flying Circus" squishes them, original sound effect included.

In the episode in which Homer has to attend college, the nerds with whom
he rooms say they know the complete script from every Monty Python bit,
at which point they begin doing the "Kinghts Who Say 'NEE!'" bit.

Any others I might have missed?

The couch scene you mentioned was, IIRC, first used for "Homer Goes To
College." That episode was written by Conan O'Brien. Think he might be
a Monty Python fan?

In the episode "Bart vs. Australia", isn't the prime minister (drinking bee
r naked in an inner tube) called Bruce? If so, this is a reference to the
famous Python sketch where all the Australians are called Bruce. Eg. "Hello
Bruce!" "Bruce! How do you do?" etc.

Michael Palin was on Conan's show a few nights back, and Conan claimed to
be a Python fan since he was a kid.

One of the couch scenes featured the MP foot.

I don't think it's a clear-cut reference, but the ticket guy at Euro
Itchy & Scratchy Land ("My last paycheck bounced! My children need
wine!") always reminds me of the French Taunter scenes in "Holy Grail."
Well, there's a slight resemblance, anyhow...

They really ought to have one of the original Pythons do a guest voice
for the show sometime... especially John Cleese or Michael Palin. I
think they'd be great, so long as they wouldn't put them in pointless
scenes like the other legends of comedy they've had on their show...
Mel Brooks, Bob Newhart, etc.

Why couldn't they have called him Paul? (which was his real name) Then he could have replied with, "G'day scumbag, what's the go?", which would be far more fitting with the man and the Aussie vernacular. Instead they say stupid things to wind Aussies up that people NEVER say like, "What's the good word, mates?" Grrrr! Or maybe that's the point.

Did you notice that you're replying to a message posted a quarter
century ago? I doubt that Mads Lund Christensen is still checking
this newsgroup for replies to that post. Though it would be cool
if Mads replies in another quarter century, in 2047.
