Hank Azaria in Heat

I saw on the credits that Hank Azaria was in the movie Heat. I couldn't
make out the characters name though. Could anybody tell me which one he
was? Not just the characters name. Thanks :)

He was the character who had the affair with Val Kilmer's wife. (Sorry
for mashing actors and characters together, but the names escape me
right now.) And Al Pacino put the squeeze on him for that minor drug
charge, remember? Hank Azaria also played in the Fox series "Herman's
Head", as did the voice for Lisa, who's name also escapes me, dammit!

His role in Heat was incredibly minor. Next to his Simpsons work, his
best film role has to be his BRILLIANT turn in the BirdCage. He easily
stole every scene he was in.
And I'll never think of Gloria Estefan music the same way again.....

Gee...when I saw the title of this message I thought it was talking about Hank Azaria
