Hi. For those of you that remember my survey from last week,
this is basically the same thing, except applying to season
two. Please reply.

Overall best episode: [7F19] "Lisa's Substitute"

Overall worst episode: [7F14] "Bart's Dog Gets An F"

Best quote: "Haven't you ever heard the story of Hercules
and the lion... etc. etc. etc.

Best scene: Homer falling down the gorge [7F06]

Most touching scene: The end of "Lisa's Substitute" [7F19]
Or the end of "Old Money" [7F17]

Lamest scene: Santa's Little Helper somehow learning
everything. [7F14]

Best characterization: Homer in "One Fish, Two Fish,
Blowfish, Bluefish" [7F11] and "War Of The Simpsons" [7F20]
Lisa in "Homer vs. Lisa & The 8th Commandment" [7F13] and
[7F19] Bart in [7F03] "Bart Gets An F" Mr. Burns in "Two
Cars On Every Garage, Three Eyes On Every Fish" [7F01]

Worst characterization: n/a

I know "most forgettable" doesn't go with "worst," but that episode had
the famous Ringo Starr cameo along with Jon Lovitz's first guest spot on
the show. It's probably more well-known and memorable than several other
episodes of the season just based on that.

Best episode EVER! Lisa at her loving best and a very down to earth,
warm, and heartfelt plot.

Anyone who disagrees can choke on his vomit. :)

I agree. Who can not laugh at Mr.Burns line: "So, you're pleased with your
current figure? My god, you're the biggest thing I've ever seen...and I've
been on safari! Homer: If anyone wants me I'll be in the refrigirator.(runs
off crying)
The words aren't exact, but close enough to make me still laugh as I bang
away at these keys. YOU..PAINT!!! Kills me.

You're right, they dont get any better than Lisa's substitute. But there are
a few that are right on par with it, though they may lack some of the
sentimentality.
Homer the Heretic, Bart gets an "F" and Mrs.Krabbapple's secret admirer I
consider to be right up their with "The Singing Dork". Of course one
person's treasure is another person's garbage. Just my 2 cents.

"Bart's Dog Gets an F"?! Mike Reed, you disgust me. The soap opera scene alone
is enough to give the episode at least a C.

>Best quote: "One person can make a difference, but most of the time they
probably shouldn't," [7F09] "Itchy and Scratchy and Marge"

>Best scene: Homer's hellish fantasy, terminating with the jail bars becoming
the real bars around his paranoid home in [7F13], "Homer vs. Lisa and the 8th
Commandment."

>Most touching scene: The end of "Lisa's Substitute" [7F19] Agreed.

>Lamest scene: Vertigo, Terminator parodies in [7F15], "Principal Charming"

>Worst characterization: Homer in [7F08] Dead Putting Society, (although it
made for some great jokes).

>Best characterization: Aw, don't make me pick just one.

>Most memorable episode: [7F01] "Two Cars in Every Garage, Three Eyes on Every
Fish"

>Most forgettable episode: [7F17] "Old Money"

Yeah, I gave it a B-. Season 2 had no bad episodes, that was just the weakest.
