Hey all.
Sorry to bring up an old episode, but I was just watching a rerun and in "I
Am Furious Yellow" (Homer turns into The Hulk), Stan Lee is visiting Comic
Book Guy's store. He is outside right after Homer is tackled by the police
force and he says "He can't be The Hulk! I'M The Hulk!" Comic Book Guy says
"Oh come on. You couldn't even turn in to Bill Bigsby." The only reference
I can find to Bill Bigsby online is one of the singers from Outkast (hate
those guys) Is this who the line refers to? I'd check the episode capsule,
but it was a while ago and hasn't been posted on snapp yet. Thanks to anyone
who can help.

No, he said "Bill *Bixby*", the actor best known for playing Dr. David Bruce
Banner in countless television versions of The Incredible Hulk.

He's referring to Bill Bixby, who played Bruce Banner...

And for the record, neither Antwan Patton (Big Boi) nor Andre Benjamin
(Andre 3000) - the only two members of Outkast - are named Bill Bigsby...

But who remembers when he played Tim O'Hara?

There's an episode of "Picket Fences" where everyone is attending a
Halloween party and Ray Walston is briefly seen wearing his Uncle Martin
antennae. Very funny.

I do! I love My Favorite Martian. Ray Walston was so funny in that show.

I liked it, too. But boy howdy, did they run out of new ideas quick.

Who can remember the details? It started airing in the fall of 1963,
forty years ago, and lasted till 1966. Not only is it no wonder that
all the cast is dead, but other than the premise I sure don't remember
much about the show.

And I'm lucky, because at least I saw it. With each passing year,
fewer and fewer people alive have actually seen the show (unless
it's making the rerun circuit).

Actually, the line was "OH, PLEASE. You couldn't even turn into Bill Bixby".

BTW, that was a pretty flagrant mistake - "BIGSBY", you must be so embarassed.
